Pronunciation
Japanese pronunciation is based on five core vowel sounds :
a the 'ah' sound in ma
i the 'ee' sound in eel
u the 'ew' sound in few
e the 'e' sound in pet
o the 'oh' sound in open
Divide the words into syllables, placing equal emphasis on each
syllable. Japanese syllables usually end with a vowel.
